Growing Children & Teens
As children rapidly grow and begin to participate in new childhood activities like skiing, bike riding and sports, small yet significant spinal misalignments may occur. As small as they may seem, these minor injuries are occurring during a period of rapid growth and development. If neglected, these minor injuries may lead to more serious problems later in life. Subtle trauma throughout childhood could affect the future development of the spine leading to impaired nervous system function. Any interference to the vital nerve system will adversely affect the body’s ability to function at its best.
Chiropractic helps with a number of conditions; bed wetting, ADHD, ADHA, attitude/behavioral issues, skin conditions/eczema, ear infections, sinus problems/allergies and common colds just to name a few. There are also many families that come in just for a monthly maintenance check up to make sure those ambitious children with growing spines are optimally developing!
It is important to understand that Dr. Schorling does not cure these conditions or diseases. Rather, she is checking the child’s spine for misalignments that impair nervous system function, therefore affecting overall bodily function.
